Plural Matter API
Add an evolving mind to an application through a small, server-side API.
Plural Matter gives an application an evolving mind: durable, actor-attributed experience that can inform later model calls.
Your backend creates a mind, sends model messages for a stable actor ID, and receives an Anthropic-compatible JSON response or event stream. The API adds a small set of fields for mind identity, actor attribution, request idempotency, and consistency.
To experience a mind before writing integration code, start with the Plural Matter CLI on a trusted developer workstation.
Call the API from a trusted backend. API keys are not browser or mobile credentials.
What you can do
- Talk to a mind interactively from your terminal.
- Create an isolated mind for an application or evaluation.
- Send non-streaming or streaming model requests.
- Choose eventual or required update consistency.
- Configure reviewed application instructions for a mind.
- Request and monitor a bounded contemplation operation.
